The Christian Publishing House known as MIK (abbreviation for Urdu MASIHI ISHA'AT KHANA) was established in 1947. It is an interdenominational publishing house that exists to provide quality Christian literature in the Urdu language.

MIK is a registered Charitable Trust which is governed by a Board of Trustees who come from different evangelical persuasions.

MIK serves Urdu speaking people, with both evangelistic and nurturing literature. This literature is being used by all Churches including the Roman Catholic Church , para-church organizations, bookshops, libraries, Christian hospitals / medical centers, and Bible schools / seminaries.

MIK is the largest active Christian Publishing House in Pakistan. All the above stated groups of people have benefited enormously from the ministry of MIK over the last many years. For example, the OM. (Operation Mobilisation) gets most of the evangelistic  literature from MIK; Bible schools like The Pakistan Bible Correspondence Institute (PBCI), with its head office in Faisalabad and branches in five major cities, get all their courses printed from MIK.

MIK has always felt that the Lord has placed it in Lahore, Pakistan, to serve the nation(s) through producing and distributing Urdu literature.

The objective of producing literature is two fold: to bring the Good News of salvation to unsaved people, who are very many, and to help the saved community to grow in their Christian faith and to train and equip them for evangelism.

MIK is located at 36-Ferozepur Road, in the central part of Lahore. It has a beautiful building with offices and warehouse for storing books. The Lord has blessed MIK with well educated and well qualified staff.
